An 8-minute cinéma vérité documentary on the women of the Kogui (Teyku) community and the mochilas they knit. Santa Marta, Colombia, Summer 2026.
I lived and worked in Santa Marta for seven weeks through DukeEngage. I directed, filmed, and edited the film myself, and conducted interviews in Kogui, Spanish, and English.
While there, I also taught English to adult women at Casa Maria.
